Empower Music & Entertainment—formerly known as POWERED Music & Management—was founded by Jawon "JayLee" Wheeler on January 21, 2020. JayLee built the company with a passionate vision, saying, “I created something so amazing at a time when I felt my lowest.” With just one artist (Remy Ruger) and a modest $80 investment, he poured his energy into building connections, growing his brand, and establishing POWERED as a trusted name in the industry. Through determination and dedication, POWERED gained recognition and quickly became a household name.

After several years of growth and valuable lessons, JayLee rebranded as Empower Music & Entertainment, expanding his vision even further. This new chapter began with "The Biggest," AKA Muwap, and set the tone for an innovative approach to music and entertainment.
